Healing the brokenhearted

Setting the Captives Free

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God;

To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”  Isaiah 61:1-3

He Came to Give Life Abundantly

We believe that deliverance and inner healing are essential in the lives of all mankind.  Jesus paid for us to be cleansed, saved, delivered, and healed.  There is a war waged against good and evil and the devil wants to keep us from walking in the fullness that Christ paid for.

Throughout our years of ministry our hearts have been broken as we’ve seen people walking in deep pain and brokenness, and oppression from the enemy.   Which has led us to develop a specific ministry in the areas of Deliverance and healing.  Our goal is to see all healed in mind, body, and spirit.  We are so glad to already be seeing people set free from years of pain and bondage and beginning to walk in a deeper relationship and intimacy with Jesus.

But He was wounded for our transgressions.
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes, we are healed

Isaiah 53:5

The Supremacy of the Cross

The foundation for all inner healing, restoration, and deliverance is established in truth. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  and the basis of all truth is found in Jesus Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection.  Freedom is not found in a method or a particular program, but in the fullness of Jesus Christ and what He has accomplished for us.

Deliverance

In some cases, people can be demonized, through demonic spirits that have gained access to their lives and wreak havoc.  In a moment through the powerful name of Jesus Christ a person that has been tormented by demons can be set free.  There is power in the blood of Jesus to release prisoners from the grip of satan.

Healing

Through life’s circumstances, pain, loss, rejection, etc. we have the opportunity to partner with the plans of the Lord in trying times or allow our circumstances; past, present, and future to form a lens in which we look through.  When we begin to partner with circumstances and not stand on the truth of the word of God it provides the enemy an opportunity to construct a stronghold in our lives, if we fail to take our thoughts captive and begin to partner with the seeds the enemy plants, the landscape of our soul begins to bear fruit and our mind, will and emotions begin to manifest what we have allowed the enemy to cultivate within us.

Breaking Strongholds

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.  2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Strongholds are what keep us bound in ungodly cycles, mentally, physically, and spiritually.  When we are a slave to the things of the devil we rob ourselves of the freedoms Christ died for.  When we are walking bound it is impossible for us to help others find freedom.  Christ desires for us to be whole and healed so we can help a lost and dying world.

Truth will set you free

How We Teach Deliverance

3 Day Intensives

Participants are invited to join for a 3-day Deliverance and Healing intensive for their soul, body, and spirit. Here we teach on topics like pain, bitterness, entitlement, God’s heart as a Father, sanctification, the blood of Jesus, healing, forgiveness, and many others.  After biblical truth and understanding are brought to each one we begin looking and 16 specific strongholds mentioned in the bible and their fruits and manifestations.  We lead the participants through a time of repentance and renouncing each one.  We finish with prayer and ask the Lord to exchange what the enemy meant for harm with the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

At the end of each intensive participants are given discipleship materials to help equip themselves in maintaining their freedom by building a firm foundation in their identity and biblical truth from the word of God.

1 on 1 Sessions

1 on 1 sessions are mainly formed through relationship with someone, as we build friendships and have an opportunity to minister we may see that they are in need of some healing or deliverance. Sometimes it is as simple as redirecting a thought process that has been hindering their success or perhaps they have walked through years of abuse and trauma and need prayer for healing and restoration.

Many times 1 on 1 meetings are not planned, often while we are ministering or praying for people during times of evangelism or discipleship demons will begin to manifest because they cannot stand to be in the presence of the Lord.  When these manifestations occur we minister directly to the individual until we see them set free and the demon/s leave.

Training Seminars

Many believers are ill-equipped in deliverance and healing ministry.  The bible tells us to cast out demons and heal the sick- freely you have received, freely give.  Because we have seen the doctrinal error in the leadership of the churches we minister in our heart has been moved to bring training into the churches so the leaders know biblical truths about deliverance and healing.

Many traditions of man are mixed in with bible theology and it has caused substantial confusion in the church.  Providing scriptural teachings about deliverance and healing, bringing correction to error, and establishing leaders that can then turn around and both lead and teach their congregants is important to us.
